The Future
Ideally, someday, I'd like to leave large social media (Bluesky, Instagram, all that sort) and switch entirely to smaller, more personal places like these. I'm already taking HTML lessons to make a gallery for my artwork on Nekoweb, and I have a journal over on Neocities (set up with Zonelets), though I've been slacking on updating it. I feel like, overall, social media has a very negative impact on our lives, including my own. I hope to see less reliance on it in the future, and the development of more personal websites. I only dread not being able to check in on my friends, or see the newest works of my favorite artists, because they cling to big socials. Maybe I can find a way to turn them into RSS feeds somehow. In any case, I still have learning to do.
