Little happenings
Went to the mall with family yesterday. My dad, stepmom, and little brother came to visit (they live on the other side of the state, so we don't see each other often) and took me out. I haven't been out in months. Every time I leave the house, my brain screams at me that I'm naked, even though I'm not. It also likes to try and convince me that I'm dreaming. Not sure why it does either of these things.
There were some neat things at the mall (and some not-so-neat things, mainly courtesy of those sketchy kiosks littered about), but I didn't go on a spending spree or anything. I got a cute pink Miku hat, and a little figurine of a shrimp. My little brother surprised me with a gift: a blind boxed figure designed by Jorge R. Gutierrez (the line is called Super Machitos; I got the "Jaguarsito" figure, which is definitely one of my favorites of the designs available). I've been a big fan of his stuff ever since I watched El Tigre as a kid, so that was wonderful to receive. I'll have to find a good place to display it once I've cleaned up.
I'm still working on my HTML classes (with breaks to play Tomodachi Life). It's difficult with depression, but I'm determined to have my own art gallery site up by the end of the year. I can do this.
Also, unrelated to everything, I've started drinking prune juice and I enjoy it. I fear I may be getting old.
